But what ever floats his boat. Still cool never the less.

Very little skyline left. Only the AWD. Even the body is specially built from carbon-fibre to weigh 1000kg. Not road legal either.

I dont like this car .. the code RB26DETT is not there. Just looks as corpse without soul.

i thought he got the v12 from combining the two Rb36dett's together? i read somewhere that he got the idea from another v12 that was combined from two 6cylinder engines, i cant remember but maybe its the veyron or the murcielago

The first idea was the Mac Laren/BMW V12 engine. Obviously unavailable.

The closest thing was the Mercedes Benz V12.

Ford I believe was the first manufacturer to combine two V-6 blocks to make a running V-12. They laser welded to modular V-6 blocks together, after some initial modification. A custom crank was ground as were custom cams and custom cylinder heads. Other than that the engine used V-6 modular internals and valvetrain.

The engine ended up in the 1995 FORD GT90 concept car as a 720 HP quad turbo V-12.

I think the engine may have been the basis for an Aston Martin V-12 later on...
