2011 GT-R after market exhaust advice
Hi
Recently purchased a GT-R and loving it. I am looking to possibly get a new exhaust for sound and hp.
If price is no object which exhaust system would you suggest? Also, what needs to be done to accept a new exhaust system? Note, I know almost nothing about cars

Can you install an aftermarket or upgraded exhaust system on GTR without voiding warranty? I like HKS brand but not sure if this will void warranty. Could someone confirm as to what exactly can be done in GTR without voiding warranty? I am thinking on exhaust system, Cobb software, etc.

Hopefully this will help

(Cobb) Catted midpipes vs Non catted midpies
I have recently installed an Akrapovic EVO exhaust to my GTR. The exhaust system is as follows;
a. AMS downpipe (non catted)
b. Akrapovic midpipe with resonators
c. Akrapovic catback with carbon tips
It sounds great but with some drone noise inside cabin at 3,500 RPM. I am looking for ways to minimize the drone such as insulating piping among other things. I have heard that using (Cobb) catted mid pipes will eliminate drone noise. I want to know any drawback if I decide to go with catted midpipes. For example; how long will it take for any of the catalytic to clog? Any loss on horsepower? Is Cobb the best choice?
Thanks, Anriel01
